. Mridula Pant is the former Principal of the Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, an institution she served for nearly three and a half decades in different capacities. An alumnus of the Convent of Jesus and Mary, New Delhi , a graduate in Economics (Hons) from the Lady Shri Ram College , Delhi University and a Post Graduate in Business Economics from the Delhi University, she obtained a degree in Education from the Central Institute of Education, Delhi University. She has been in the field of education for more than thirty five years and has worked closely with the CBSE in the field of Economics including curriculum development and the CBSE International program and has also been a part of the inspection teams for CBSE schools . She was also a part of the academic team for the pilot project ‘Sakshat’ of the MHRD . She has also been involved in the training of Principals and teachers on various administrative, academic and student related issues.
2.. During her tenure in the school, she was the recipient of four Commendation Cards , three of them from various GOC in Cs, Western Command, and the last one from the former Chief of Army Staff, for her “meaningful sincerity, devotion to duty and competence” and for her service towards educating the children of Army personnel . On 5 September 2017, she was also awarded the State Award for Education by the Chief Minister , Delhi Govt.
